    Gyms in Seattle
Greetings Seattle - my new years resolution is to get buff and get laid twice as much as I did this year. Are there any gyms in the Seattle metro area (this is not for you Kirkland, Burien, Sea-Tac and other bullshit "towns" around Seattle) that offer a ton of classes like step, yoga, etc. that you'd recommend? I like the class environment because it keeps me motivated and I can scam on hotties in the class. Need help quick!

    Nutritionist
Greetings Seattle folks - While pondering my future and realizing that I had no future other than alcoholism and petty theft to look forward to if I stayed in my current line of work I've been considering going back to school and focusing on a trade that I might enjoy and would pay the bills.

Are any of you currently in a program for nutrition at either Bastyr or U of W? Is there anyone you might recommend speaking to that might have some insight into this if you don't? Nutrition interests me and I thought it might be something to pursue. Thoughts?

I'm unemployed, AGAIN! Time to fire back up brokeass....

Agony. The left side of my face screams "Mercy!"

    9:30: Root Canal.
    Perks: Vicodin. Sweet vicodin.
Jerks: Sitting in a chair for a foolish hour and a half as my sadistic dentist and his evil, 6-months pregnant assistant had their way w/ my mouth. Damn his practice. I hope her baby is born with a full set of teeth and it insists on breast feeding.
Rushed to the pharmacy to attain the sweet V, my bottom lip dragging behind me.

    12:30: Mountain Goats interview
I love this band. They have a new record entitled, "We Shall All Be Healed" coming out in a matter of weeks. A full review will be up on Bandoppler.com in the coming weeks but suffice to say it's a keeper though lacking the bitter wit and sarcasm of the lovely past release, "Tallahassee". The strength of this record is it's songs and the story telling of John Darnielle.
Spent the rest of the afternoon with Jason reading bios and transcribing interviews.

    7:30: Multi-Faith meeting/dinner
Those $3.99 bottomless pancakes at IHOP are where it's at. I only get one plate but, $3.99! Looks like we might be taking on a new care partner, I'm apprehensive but certain all will go well. It's just another responsibility. I'm a Gen Xer, I like washing my Nirvana t-shirt, smoking pot and writing poetry about the government. I don't have time for this baggage.

I ate today but mostly tried to hold my tongue about the aching in my jaw.
That's all for now. My dot.com stocks are spiraling.

    First day unemployed....
7:30: Woke up. Alarm was set for 8:30. Why I was up? Not sure.
Got up and read over my interview questions and did a little more reading on Suffocation before the interview. Had some raisin bran and skim milk.

9:00: Did Suffocation interview with ego-riffic drummer. Realized shortly before interview that I can't record conversations on my cell phone. Did my best to type fast and keep the questions personable so I could remember most of the conversation.

10:00: Went to gym and ran 3.5 miles on tread mill, did some stretching, crunches and push ups.

12:00: Dentist appointment. Another root canal. When am I going to learn to floss regularly? Fuck!

1:00: Went by previous employer and tied up some loose ends and had some Taco Bell with [info]schuylar and [info]motivate. I love TB, I really do. Had a bean burrito, chicken soft taco and diet Pepsi.

    3:00: Started writing Suffocation article.

5:30: Ate an orange. Went back to gym and did 3.47 miles on stationary bike.

6:30: Came back home, checked some email and got distracted for about 45 min on some buff guy site.
Waste of time but eye candy was had. Ate some tuna and corn chips for dinner.

7:30: Re-wrote some parts I wasn't happy with in Suffocation article, set it aside and cleaned the kitchen.

9:00: Started unpacking box from work, put some stuff on ebay and half.com.

Some where within all this craziness I made some phone calls, sent some email and sent the final draft of the Suffocation piece over to [info]ghettochicken for some scrutiny. About to dive into "Goodbye, Chunky Rice" by Craig Thompson.

    Productive day accomplished.

    Goals for tomorrow:
Cancel cable and Netflix account (sigh)
    Work out
    Have lunch w/ Jason
    Finish resume
    Hidden Cameras interview
    Reschedule dentist appointment
    Clean living room
    eat
Keep the productivity at an all time high!
